José Ramón Cagigas

 

Professional photographer, born in Mexico City in 1971.  He discovers a passion for photography at the age of fifteen, thus embarking on an immediate and ongoing adventure.  He begins assisting photographers, who work mostly in advertising, until the age of eighteen when he becomes a professional photographer. José Ramón has a degree in marketing. 

 

Currently, José Ramón owns a fully equipped photography studio “k photo” where several projects are constantly being developed and produced with the support of a team of professionals.  His projects mainly focus on photographing automobiles, people, and advertising concepts.  José Ramón manages to keep up with an industry that is constantly in motion without compromising his integrity as an artist.  Because of this, he is often invited to speak in conferences given by prestigious advertising and photography institutions and has also taught courses at several universities.

 

Throughout his career, his work has owned him several awards and recognitions, in Mexico and abroad, that include the “New York Festival”, twice finalist “Golden Lion” in the Lions Cannes Festival in France, also the “Sol de Bronce” at the FIAP Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina and won de bronze lion in Cannes France. 

 

Jose Ramon has cultivated an important list of automotive customers, by his great passion of photographing what he like, cars and motorcycles.
